Whether you’re a teenager who has never taken swimming lessons or an expert who would like a coach to help you practice your style, distance or speed in your own pool, you’ve come to the right place!
Our at-home swimming lessons and training are adapted to each swimmer. Our master-swimmers are trained in teaching the basics of swimming and all the styles, including the front crawl, the back crawl, the elementary backstroke, the breaststroke, the sidestroke and the butterfly.
If you have a pool or a friend who has one, Aquado’s at-home swimming lessons are a great activity for the summer. Our master-swimmers are young, respectful, dynamic, professional and motivated and are there to help you improve your swimming skills, all while forging a solid relationship with you!
If you don’t know how to swim, there’s nothing to worry about. Our master-swimmers have the experience necessary to teach teenagers how to swim from square one. Our private and small group lessons are perfect for optimal progress, and since you take the lessons from home, your master-swimmer can help you with exercises tailored for your own pool!
If you already know how to swim, know that swimming is as complete sport that works out every muscle in your body without impact. Our master-swimmers can give you refresher courses to make sure you make rapid progress in all the swimming styles and get you to the point where you can train alone properly. Visits from your master-swimmer can take the form of swimming lessons, in which you practice your techniques and styles, or they can take the form of training, in which you work on your cardio, strength and speed!
Whether your goal is to get in shape, learn how to swim or simply to diversify and optimize your workout routine, Aquado is the perfect swimming school for your needs and will turn you into an expert swimmer this summer!
Our swimming lessons for teenagers are taught using the following Red Cross Swim programs:
If you are a beginner the Essential 1 program will teach you how to swim, and the Essential 2 program will teach you the front crawl and back crawl.

If you are at the intermediate level, the Swimming Styles program will help you master every swimming style, including front crawl, back crawl, elementary backstroke, breaststroke, sidestroke and butterfly. If you are training for a competition or if you simply wish to learn one or just a couple styles, all you need to do is speak with your master-swimmer and he/she will be attentive to your needs.
If you are an advanced swimmer, the Water Sports program will help you perfect your style while working on your results, including your speed and endurance. Swimming lessons for advanced-level teens can take the form of a course or training: the choice is yours! Other concepts targeted during the lessons include swimming in place, turns, diving, sprints and much more!
As a teenager over 13 years old, you have the age to take the steps to becoming a lifeguard. How cool?!
In-ground residential pools are usually deep and long enough to meet the Lifesaving Society’s requirements for Bronze Star to Bronze Cross certifications.
The last course and final step to accomplish before becoming a lifeguard is the National Lifeguard certification. Unfortunately, residential pools are just too small to work on all the concepts targeted in the National Lifesaver courses.
You can still take the first steps to becoming a lifeguard with Aquado by taking your own lessons with your friends! You can even choose your own group and create a schedule that works for everybody!
Did you know that…
Swimming started in the 1st century? In fact, it’s a nearly 2000-year-old sport. It’s been a part of the Olympic Games since the first one in 1896
